Sandy Greenberg, before embarking on a full-time career of sharing music with children, established herself as a folk musician and singer-songwriter for adults with two of her own recordings. She completed three cross-Canada tours, performing at folk clubs, coffee houses, and festivals. Venues included the Winnipeg Folk Festival (link) (Manitoba), Calgary Folk Club (Alberta), Saint John Folk Club (New Brunswick), Summerfolk (Owen Sound, Ontario), Festival of Friends (Hamilton, Ontario), Northern Music Circuit (British Columbia), and many more. She was one of the original founders of the Harbour Folk Society in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she resides. Her studies include voice, guitar, classical piano, dance, and improvisational theatre. She received training in working with children in the San Francisco-based troupe, Mother Goose, Inc., and has worked also with the Gargoyle Puppet Troupe in Halifax. She was a co-founder of "Rosie and Sandy's Kids' Entertainment Company," where she has gained many years of experience with children, presenting puppet shows and children's music. Since 1990, she has been a full-time member of RAZZMATAZZ FOR KIDS, writing songs and performing for children in schools, festivals, and special events.
